This is exactly my own thoughts on it. Personally, I do not like Cicero at all but it makes sense to let him live from the story's perspective. After reading his journals and learning more about his intentions, I disliked him a lot less, especially when Astrid winds up being the one betraying the Brotherhood.

It felt like the right choice to make when I spared his life, especially given what Lachance said; Cicero may be insane, but he is loyal to the Night Mother.

Skyrim kill cicero or let him live

His voice annoys me. I also like his armor bonuses better than the Dark Brotherhood armor. Cicero is effectively the only REAL Dark brotherhood member in the entire game, the others just took on their names and do more or less random assassinations, as they have no connection to Sithis or the Night Mother, which is IMO essential to being a member of the DB. So no, let him live.

I highly recommend it!

Let him live! I highly recommend it! As everyone else has stated thus far, he's a great follower. He's sneaky and great with a blade, but there's another huge perk: he's essential.

I don't know whether or not he's trying to deceive me on whether or not the mother likes him, and I wouldn't want to displease her.

Since you can pickpocket him and receive higher grade gear at the Dawnstar Sanctuary, it is really not lucrative to kill him. If you have completed the quest line for the Dark Brotherhood, and Cicerio is still alive at that point, he will indeed become a Follower. Leaving him alive thus results in more benefits for you

1. Elder Scrolls Lore Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Cicero Skyrim Tint Man Skyrim Fanart I read somewhere that letting Cicero live is more beneficial than killing him. Could be because if you have him killed the family on the farm will be murdered. In the Dawnstar Sanctuary, you have the choice to either kill him or let him live. Now, i've been thinking Cicero wants to go back to the Old Ways  Feb 29, 2012 This may of been patched though.Usually I just kill him. Kind of a liability.

It felt like the right choice to make when I spared his life, especially given what Lachance said; Cicero may be insane, but he is loyal to the Night Mother. Back to top. If you let him live, you get a unique voiced (though annoying) Essential follower.
